Ok ok...To start...I haven't updated my blog in ages....Damn after seeing others blog...My blog's self esteem was torn completely...Hmmmph...How come everyone's blog looks so damn neat cept for mine?My blog needs a makeover too!Once I figure out how:p
Okay...So back to the title...Manicures...Hmmmm....After the nail art craze in Jap got to Malaysia...Everyone's crazy bout it...Nails should look better then how you look like so even if you're ugly you can just cover your face with your perfect swarvoski crystal studded nails throughout your whole date...And if the night does proceed a lil further into motel rooms it'll be dark too so your date won't be able to even see ur hugely bloated scarred face...Hahaha..ok...Censore that...It's obscence...Anyways...Basically girls everywhere are just made about it!And yes another mystery guys will never be able to solve even if the Hardy Boys were called in...Apparently Nancy Drew's busy having her nails done too...I just had my first ever manicure recently...Seriously I'm not bragging...I'm just going to erm...Share my experience and flaunt my nails around abit:p
Well... To start...I went to Top Nail as it's one of the best nail pampering station in Kuching so as I've heard...And the manicures are priced reasonably too...Unlike those poshy high class spas or salons boasting manicures at hundreds of ringgit just to get the same kind of manicure you can get at cheaper places...It's was impossible to get by Top Nails without an appointment cause their jam packed with customers the whole day through...So I went on time for once to see a busy Carol ( the lovely owner of Top Nails) stuffing as much lunch into her as she can...Yes she was that busy...I had no pictures taken of the place but it was damn cosy with a laidback modern twist to it...Hmmmm ok back to the manicure...It was a somewhat complicated process...It starts with the shaping of the nails followed by the cleaning of the cuticles which hurt for me...Carol told me i had thick cuticles which I found out later was bad...She had to cut off..I mean tear off literally my cuticle with this nasty twisted pain injecting cuticle killing contraption...Ok maybe I was just exaggerating...By a lil but it wasnt that excruciating...Because somehow...I've checked around and everyone else has normal cuticles...So maybe I was a special case...After the agonizing task she started painting on my nails after applying a coat of nail varnish to protect the nails...And the thing that amazed me so much was that she directly painted on my nails the two different colours I wanted on the top part and on the bottom part of my nails without the help of any kind of sticker border line thingy that comes in french manicure kits...And before I even know it Hey presto!I was done:)
And with a huge grin I went home happily ever after...Ok...Till just yesterday I f***** up the tip of one my nails...*Sighs*.....I highly recommend that girls should go and get their nails done...it doesnt have to be something super fancy that inlcudes the works of nail extensions and such you can jsut opt for a simple manicure or French manicure or if your willing to splurge I suggest the 3D nail art which is extremely gorgeous and after that's done you'll be excused from house chores for 3 weeks thatt's just how long a typical manicure can last....And also...Top Nails does offer other services ranging from pedicures to eyebrow perming...Dont ask me why and no I'm not being paid any advertising fee for this:p
Ok...I opted for black and silver...No nail art...Tho regretting now...
